Our Team

Since 2013, we have been building our team of highly skilled ethical hackers who, thanks to shared know-how and continuous development, are among the leaders in their field.

Management

I hacked the bank where you keep your money. No panic – with a valid contract and a goal to help. I wrote my first program when I was eight and my first hack was unlocking all levels of the PC game Supaplex. At the age of twelve, I met Juraj Bednár at the MINIPROG programming contest, with whom I later founded Citadelo. Today, I lead the company and somewhat envy my pentesting team. Besides that, I love space and Japanese teas.

I wrote my first program on Didaktik M, missed my prom because a new Linux kernel was released, and graduated despite the challenges of Gentoo and Battle.net. Since breaking things is more fun than fixing them, after 15 years in corporations. I decided to become an ethical hacker. Besides hacking several banks, I also hacked military servers of eight countries – but only during Locked Shields exercises, fortunately. I love new technologies, encrypt everything I can, drink coffee, and read manuals.

I gained theoretical knowledge in the field of commerce and marketing at the Faculty of Commerce of the University of Economics in Bratislava. I gradually acquired practical IT knowledge and know-how through various companies. The biggest part of my experience was as a Key Account Manager at Wincor Nixdorf, where I was in charge of several global customers. I have been the Sales Director & Board Member at Citadelo since 2021. Apart from my enthusiasm for IT and the fintech world, I enjoy spending time on the badminton court.

I extremely enjoy forming new relationships and working with people. This is probably why I decided over eight years ago to start working in the field of commerce. This is despite having a technical background – a degree in applied informatics. In my personal life, I like to travel to new or old places, read good self-development books, or engage in sports like football or swimming.

I lead our ethical hackers, and it's cool! I take care of them to ensure they work well. As a project manager, I enjoyed preparing projects for hackers; today, as a Country Manager, I oversee their overall well-being and the efficient operation of our company. I leverage my strengths in organization, systematization, and planning. In my free time, I listen to Depeche Mode, cycle, and I am a professional photographer.

During my university studies, I actively gained various work experiences, including those abroad. These experiences gradually led me to my current position as HR Manager at Citadelo, where I have been engaged in recruitment and internal HR in IT security for almost 7 years. With the experience I've gained, I always strive to provide effective solutions with a professional and friendly approach.

I love challenges and action-packed projects. Studying accounting and financial management provided me with a solid knowledge base, which I have been building on and deepening for 17 years in practice. I have worked in an accounting firm, in financial audit, managed the statutory finance department in a global company and currently I work as CFO at Citadelo. At the same time, I am Managing Director for central Europe at Spartan.

Since childhood, I have enjoyed playing all kinds of games, which taught me how to plan my next steps and adapt to changing game situations. At Citadelo, I get to play such a game continuously—as a project manager, I am responsible for planning the capacities of my fellow hackers and ensuring that sudden changes never affect the quality of our output. When I'm not shifting Tetris pieces in a project plan, I'm playing a tournament in some card game.

I am a person who loves to communicate. Since childhood, I've wanted to work with people and do something that adds value to society. I see the significance of my work in providing the best service for our ethical hackers, thereby improving internet security. I studied managerial mathematics and then strategic management. I enjoy self-improvement through gym workouts and various sports. Despite my hearing not working as it should, listening is my strong suit.

I graduated in strategic management and marketing from the Faculty of Management at Comenius University. A detail-oriented person with the conviction that there are no problems, only solutions. I found my home in the IT sector, although I started my career in the automotive industry. After years of working in multinational corporations, I longed to work for a smaller company with an informal environment, and Citadelo fulfilled that for me. In my free time, I am an outdoor enthusiast and a lover of fantasy and science fiction movies. In addition, I am fascinated by psychology and architecture, and I love Italian cuisine and culture. My heart belongs to Italy in general.

My hobbies include observing the world and the things happening around me. I am most interested in and inspired by complex nonlinear systems – people. Whether this thinking happens in a café over good coffee, wine, in a theater or while reflecting on a good book or on a bench in the promenade, it excites me. My career started in IT Recruiting and Executive Search. After 7 years on the agency side, I transferred to the internal human resources department, where my job is to take care of people, the most important creative resource, and their satisfaction.

Hackers

My love for computers started with computer games and I got into hacking by chance when I gave a tip to a friend's friend on how to win an online poll. I studied at FI MUNI, where my interest in IT security deepened. I'm mostly interested in Red Teaming, infrastructure hacking and bypassing detection systems. I enjoy thought-provoking movies, listening to old-school heavy metal, and drinking specialty coffee from Ethiopia.

I have been fascinated by technology since childhood. I study informatics at STU FIIT, but I gained my real hacking skills outside of school by exploring how things work and how I can turn them into something unexpected. My favorite areas are hardware hacking, web hacking, and IoT. Besides technology, I enjoy sports, playing hockey and running,'`"><\x3Cscript>javascript:alert(':)')</script>

My biggest passion is solving puzzles in any form — give me one of those metal puzzles and you'll get rid of me until I solve it. IT security, especially offensive, was an obvious choice because it fulfills my desire for analysis and puzzle-solving. The best challenges are from the real world—how to hack a robotic vacuum cleaner so it doesn't report its location to the world and also upload my songs to it, adding some fun when it cleans.

I enjoy figuring out how things work, but even more, I love making them do what I want. I am interested in open source technologies, Linux, crypto and mobile application security. And, of course, offensive security in general.

I am fascinated with breaking and bending things in a way they were not designed to. My development and DevOps background allows me to see potential issues in implemented functionalities from the other side. In my free time, apart from normal human things, I compete in CTF hacking competitions and study new attack vectors.

Ever since I was a kid, I have enjoyed figuring out how things work. I took apart my first radio when I was 6, which, of course, didn’t go well with my parents. I started programming in Basic on a ZX Spectrum and later studied AI when neural networks were still coded in C. I have visited many secret sites throughout my career. I enjoy hacking websites and hardware the most. In my free time, I like wall climbing and running.

I got into offensive security during university through various CTF challenges. I worked in defensive security for several years until I got an offer to become an ethical hacker. I am mostly interested in clouds, infrastructure and web applications. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially cycling.

Since I was young, I’ve loved mathematics, focused on it during my studies, and even married it. Literally. I married a mathematician. I started programming in high school, and my first four paychecks went toward my first computer. After university, I joined a programming team, where over 10 years I worked on numerous web projects. Eventually, I got into hacking. I am fascinated by overcoming impossible horizons.

My journey began around high school with programming, probably because I saw challenges in it that kept me occupied. From there, it naturally extended to hacking. Even though I didn't have a strong foundation, I installed my first Linux and started playing with it; it was cool back then. There are a lot of activities in my repertoire that I enjoy, but the essential ones include sports and learning new things.

My first hack was Saboteur on the Commodore +4. I wanted to finish it, but it was too hard, so I delved into memory and searched. I finished the game, but modifying the machine code was even more fun. Since then, I've first explored both hardware and software and only then used them, which still holds true today.

I started out as a full-stack developer, but gradually got lured into the world of CyberSecurity. Initially, hacking was just a hobby, but eventually, I decided to make it my career. So here I am, hacking the world! When I am not hacking, I am doing sports, and when I am not doing sports, I am playing chess, PC games, or board games. I make great ginger beer, kimchi and spaghetti aglio e olio. Occasionally, I try to move objects with my mind, but so far to no avail.
